I ordered 6 of the Mary Kay dark brown lip liners, I was excited to find them, but when they arrived they were very old and didn t go on good at all. They were all dried up. They shipped fast and there were a few extras in the bag but lip liners are no good.

I've sold many of these lipliners and only had issues with Brown/Dark brown, Chocolate shades. As of 1/11/24, I pulled all the remaining shades of those colors. I will only continue to sell the ones without issues reported to avoid upsetting valuable customers. I have no way of testing certain items like this as if I open and test them I will have been compromised. There are also items such as this that a visual inspection alone can't determine a product's moisture level. I have a moisture meter however it is not 100% on such small items without contact.
I do appreciate the review. Good or Bad it still takes up your time and I'm grateful you shared your time to do this.

First and last time order for me. The lip liner was dried up and two extra send with tops missing and nothing inside. This proves you get practically what you pay for. Had no expiration date & most likely out dated for years. What a deal??????

Thank you for giving me your feedback. Even negative feedback can lead to positive improvements. I have sold many of the lip liners, and so far, I have not had any issues until now. I am open about not being an expert in makeup, and I explain this on the About Owner page. I also provide information on how I get and process products.
Regarding the two extra products you received, I gave them to you as gifts. I like to send all customers a little something extra. I admit that a portion of the lip liner was missing. I thought they were just samples, half the size, and when opened, there was a lip liner tip, just like with complete items.
I check each product before selling, but I have no way of telling if items like this are dried up without testing each one. However, I'm sure you'd agree that the seller shouldn't touch open products that a customer would apply to their body. This applies to most cosmetics I sell. If the item is sealed and appears to be in good/new condition, I will place it online.
I understand that there will always be some bad apples, and that's why I have user agreements stating such possibilities. This is also a factor when pricing products. Like you, I didn't see any dates on the product either, and most of the makeup I sell doesn't have any dates. I won't sell a product if I locate an expired date attached.
I will revisit and review this product and correct any flaws I can visibly determine. If necessary, I will remove it. Additionally, I will revisit your order and try to correct any negative feelings you may have towards More4less. No hard feelings if you choose to shop elsewhere; however, I must try to correct this because it's the right thing to do.

I was looking for a discontinued item with Mary Kay. I was so happy that they had the product and I purchased four of them. They were shipped timely and arrived in great condition. There were a couple goodies in the package in addition to my order. I would certainly order again.
